Asbury is a small farming town in southwestern Missouri, about 15 miles northeast of Joplin via I-44 and local roads. Highway 171 connects it to Joplin for daily commutes, while Highway 96 links east to Carthage. The town sits on rolling prairie where the Ozarks meet Kansas plains. Its century-old grain elevator towers over the surrounding farmland and still operates during harvest season.
