Arthur is a tiny ranching town in Nebraska's Sandhills, serving as county seat for one of America's least populated counties. Take Highway 92 west from North Platte (45 miles) through classic grassland terrain, or connect via Highway 2 and Highway 61 from the east. The 1961 courthouse remarkably houses the entire county government in one modest building.
