Arthur is a small farm town in east-central Illinois, about 15 miles from Champaign via Route 133. Most visitors exit I-57 at Arcola and drive west, passing through classic Midwest corn country. The town of 2,000 serves as a gateway to one of Illinois' largest Amish communities, where horse-drawn buggies still share the rural roads.
