Arnold is a small riverside town about 20 miles northeast of Pittsburgh along the Allegheny River. Take US Route 22 east from Pittsburgh to PA Route 66 north, then follow local roads into town, or use PA Route 56 which runs directly through Arnold. The community sits in a narrow river valley with winding roads that follow the natural terrain. The historic 1929 YMCA building still anchors the downtown area along the riverfront.
