Arlington is a farming town of about 1,500 people located 35 miles northwest of Omaha via Highway 30. The main route from Omaha takes I-680 north to Highway 30 west, about 45 minutes through suburbs and farmland. Local traffic uses County Road 21 for north-south connections. The town's 1920s grain elevator still dominates the skyline and can be seen for miles across the prairie.
