Arkadelphia is a college town in southwestern Arkansas, home to Henderson State and Ouachita Baptist universities. Interstate 30 runs right through the city, making it an easy 65-mile drive from Little Rock or a quick 35-mile trip from Hot Springs via Highway 7. The twin campuses give this Ouachita River community of 10,000 a year-round academic vibe. Fun fact: this is where the Clark Bar candy was invented in 1917.
