Arion is a farming community of 137 people in western Iowa's Crawford County, about 45 miles from Omaha via Highway 141. The town sits among rolling agricultural land typical of the Loess Hills region. Local traffic comes from Denison (8 miles northeast), while Highway 30 provides broader regional connections. The working grain elevator remains the town's most recognizable landmark.
