Aredale is a tiny farming town of 48 people in north-central Iowa's Butler County. Highway 3 runs east-west through town, connecting to Eagle Grove (15 miles west) and Hampton (10 miles east), with Interstate 35 about 20 miles east for longer trips. Hampton Municipal Airport sits 10 miles away. Despite being one of Iowa's smallest cities, Aredale still operates its own post office.
