Arcola is a tiny farming community of 34 people in southwestern Missouri's Dade County. Reach it via Highway 97 from Dadeville (8 miles) or take US 160 from Springfield then north on Highway 97. The town sits in rolling Ozark hills with hot, humid summers and icy winters. Its 1902 one-room schoolhouse still stands as a piece of local history.
