Archbold is a small farming town in northwest Ohio, about 45 miles from Toledo via US Route 20, which runs right through downtown. State Route 66 connects north to Michigan and south to Napoleon. Most visitors arrive on Route 20 or access I-80/90 near Swanton for longer trips. The flat agricultural landscape supports corn and soybean farming, and the town experiences typical Midwest seasons. Archbold is famous for Sauder Village, a living history museum featuring 19th-century pioneer life and one of the Midwest's largest antique farming equipment collections.
