Arcanum is a small farming town in western Ohio, about 20 miles north of Dayton via State Route 49. The main routes include SR-49 running north-south through town and connections to US-127 and Interstate 70 to the south. Most visitors arrive from Dayton or Greenville, with the drive taking you through classic Midwest farmland and small communities. The restored 1890s opera house downtown still hosts live theater performances.
