Arcadia is a small Louisiana town of 2,600 people in Bienville Parish, about 45 minutes east of Shreveport via I-20 and Highway 9 north. The area features rolling pine forests and farmland typical of north-central Louisiana. Downtown centers on a historic courthouse square anchored by the impressive 1914 Bienville Parish Courthouse with its distinctive white columns and red brick facade.
