Arcadia is a small farming town of 248 people in southeastern Kansas, sitting along US Highway 69 near the Missouri border. The main routes are US 69 north to Fort Scott and south to Pittsburg (15 miles), plus State Highway 7 running east-west. Most residents make daily trips south to Pittsburg for work and services. The town's working 1920s grain elevator still dominates the skyline.
