Arcadia is a small ranching town in south-central Florida, about an hour from both Sarasota and Fort Myers via US 17 and State Road 70. The Peace River flows through this DeSoto County seat, surrounded by cattle ranches and citrus groves. The town hosts the All-Florida Championship Rodeo each March, a tradition running since 1929 and one of the Southeast's oldest continuous rodeos.
