Angoon is a remote Tlingit village on Admiralty Island, reachable only by small plane from Juneau (20 minutes) or infrequent ferry service. No roads connect it to anywhere else. The village has a few miles of local roads for getting around town, mostly traveled on foot or ATV. It's one of Alaska's last traditional Native communities, where subsistence fishing and hunting remain central to daily life.
