Angie is a tiny Louisiana community of about 300 people in Washington Parish, roughly 60 miles northeast of New Orleans. Take I-12 to Highway 21 north through Bogalusa to reach this piney woods settlement. The George R Carr Memorial Air Field serves the area for private aviation, and the town's name honors a lumber executive's daughter from the region's timber industry days.
