Angel Fire is a mountain resort town at 8,400 feet in northern New Mexico's Sangre de Cristo range. Take US 64 from Taos (25 miles west) or drive up from Santa Fe via US 285 to US 64 east. The town anchors the scenic Enchanted Circle driving loop and offers skiing in winter, mountain biking in summer. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial here was America's first national monument honoring Vietnam War veterans.
