Andrews is a small mountain town in far southwestern North Carolina, right where the state meets Georgia and Tennessee. US Highway 19 runs straight through town, connecting north to Bryson City and south toward Murphy and Georgia. It's the Cherokee County seat and sits near Nantahala National Forest, making it a handy base for mountain exploring. Western Carolina Regional Airport is about 12 miles away. The restored 1920s schoolhouse now serves as the Valleytown Cultural Arts Center, featuring local crafts and mountain music.
