Andrews Air Force Base sits about 10 miles southeast of D.C. in Prince George's County. Take I-495 to Exit 7A, then south on Route 5 for 3 miles to reach the main gate. Most visitors arrive via the Capital Beltway from either I-95 or local D.C. routes. The base houses the presidential aircraft fleet, including the famous blue and white planes that serve as Air Force One.
