Anderson is a farming town of 219 people in southeastern South Dakota, about 15 miles northwest of Sioux Falls via Highway 19 or County Road 106. Most visitors arrive from I-90 at the Humboldt exit, though locals make the quick trip to Sioux Falls regularly. The historic grain elevator serves as the town's most recognizable landmark.
