Ammon is a fast-growing suburb just northeast of Idaho Falls, connected by US Highway 20 and close to Interstate 15. The city serves as a gateway to Yellowstone via US-20 east and offers easy access to Salt Lake City on I-15 south. Idaho Falls Regional Airport is eight miles away. Ammon runs one of Idaho's largest municipal recycling operations.
