Amity is a small farming town in Oregon's Yamhill County, about 45 miles southwest of Portland via Highway 99W and Highway 18. The route passes through wine country and connects travelers heading to the Oregon Coast. McMinnville Municipal Airport is 8 miles away. The town sits in the Willamette Valley's rolling hills among vineyards and hazelnut orchards. Amity's 1908 grange hall still hosts community events as one of Oregon's oldest continuously operating grange buildings.
