Allentown is a small borough in western Monmouth County with about 1,700 residents, positioned between Trenton and the Jersey Shore. Route 195 runs east-west through the area, connecting to I-95 near Trenton and the Garden State Parkway toward the coast. Route 539 provides north-south access to Freehold and surrounding communities. The town features the historic Allentown Presbyterian Church from 1720, one of New Jersey's oldest continuously operating Presbyterian congregations.
