Allendale is a quiet Bergen County borough about 25 miles northwest of Manhattan, nestled in the Ramapo Mountains foothills. Take I-287 to Exit 58 or connect from the Palisades Parkway via local roads. The 1848 train station remains one of New Jersey's oldest continuously operating rail stops.
