Allardt is a small mountain town in Tennessee's Cumberland Plateau, accessible via winding State Route 52 from Highway 127. Popular with visitors heading to Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, it's about an hour from both Nashville and Knoxville through Crossville. The town of 1,000 hosts an annual Oktoberfest that celebrates its German settler heritage.
