Alda is a small farming town in south-central Nebraska, about 10 miles southeast of Grand Island via US Highway 34. Most visitors take I-80 to Exit 312 near Grand Island, then follow local roads south through corn and soybean country. The Central Nebraska Regional Airport is roughly 15 miles north. The town hosts an annual Alda Days celebration with a popular community barbecue that attracts folks from across Hall County.
