Albion is a small county seat in southeastern Illinois farm country, home to about 2,000 people. Take I-64 to Exit 91 near Fairfield, then follow Route 15 southeast into town. Route 130 runs north-south through the city center. The area sits between the Wabash and Little Wabash rivers in rolling agricultural land. The 1891 courthouse on the town square features distinctive Second Empire architecture with a mansard roof and working clock tower.
