Albany is a small farming town in south-central Wisconsin, about 35 miles south of Madison via US Highway 14 and Highway 59. The area features rolling agricultural land typical of Wisconsin's driftless region. Most visitors arrive from Madison or via I-94 at the Highway 59 interchange. The town centers around a working grain elevator along the old railway line that continues to serve local farms.
