Adrian is a tiny farming town on I-40 in the Texas Panhandle, about 40 miles west of Amarillo. Most people pass through on cross-country trips, though US 385 provides north-south access through the area. The high plains location means big skies, wheat fields, and plenty of wind. Adrian claims to be the exact midpoint of historic Route 66 between Chicago and Los Angeles.
