Adelanto is a high desert city in San Bernardino County, about 85 miles northeast of LA via I-210 and I-15 north to Highway 395. The city sits along major routes connecting Southern California's valleys with the Mojave Desert, including Highway 18 from Palmdale and Highway 395 running north-south through town. Its economy centers on Southern California Logistics Airport, which features one of North America's longest runways at over 15,000 feet.
