Adams is a small Robertson County town about 40 miles northwest of Nashville via I-65 north to Highway 76 west. The rural community sits among rolling farmland where tobacco barns and hardwood forests define the landscape. Highway 76 provides the main east-west route through town, connecting to Springfield and the Kentucky border. The area is famous for the early 1800s Bell Witch legend, supernatural events at the Bell family farm that drew visitors including Andrew Jackson.
