Adair is a small town of 650 people in northeastern Oklahoma, about an hour south of Tulsa via US Highway 69. The main route runs north to Pryor Creek and south toward Eufaula, while Highway 20 provides east-west connections. The town sits in rolling Ozark foothill country and still has its original stone jail from the early 1900s cattle trail days.
