Acequia is a tiny farming town of 153 people in south-central Idaho's Minidoka County, about 15 miles southwest of Burley via Highway 27. Most visitors arrive from I-84 at Exit 208 near Burley, then take local roads through irrigated farmland. The town sits in Idaho's Magic Valley, surrounded by the canal system that gives it its name - "acequia" is Spanish for irrigation ditch.
