Abbyville is a tiny farming town in central Kansas along Route 96, about 20 miles west of Hutchinson. With fewer than 100 residents, it sits amid endless wheat fields on the flat Great Plains. Most visitors arrive via K-96 from Hutchinson or US-50 from Wichita. The historic grain elevator dominates the skyline and can be spotted from miles away across the prairie.
